An ever changing force

Capita is one of the largest IT organisations in the country, dedicated to supporting thousands of customers across the UK.

Addtonic and Pursuit Communications have worked with Capita’s Information Technology Solutions since 2016. Together we have worked on multiple projects, from white papers to branding entire exhibitions.

We were awarded the dream job of bringing to life Capita’s vision of unimaginable opportunity in the world of ever changing technology. This took the form of a glossy coffee table, flat format hardback book. Our design echoed the magnitude of technological advancement by setting it against a backdrop of nature’s power - the other ever evolving and ever powerful force.

A promise

In collaboration with Pursuit, Addtonic created the ‘Here for you’ brand for Capita IT and Networks. The messaging placed the customer at its heart, pledging to be there when they needed them, promoting trust and integrity. The Customer Promise projected the pledge outwardly to market, whilst the Employee Promise promoted the sentiment internally, as IT and Networks ‘believe in treating our employees as family and our customers as royalty.’

The pentagons in the logo positioned Capita IT and Networks as the perfect fit for their customer’s business. The pentagon device was then utilised throughout the rest of the design to reinforce the message.

Emotive imagery was used throughout, including a diver advocating that Capita ‘remain submerged in your organisation, doing what they do without you actually knowing that they’re there”, and a couple viewing a scan of their baby, being looked after by technology powered by Capita.

Infographics with punch

Infographics are effective because they combine the written word with visual elements to help breakdown sometimes complex messages into an easily digestible format.

This method of communication suits Capita well, as they often have to explain technical products and processes to consumers in an accessible manner.

Addtonic helped them take on these challenges and had a bit of fun with them along the way.
